Personality: John has
a cunning and tactical mind which is always churning away. Although slightly
apathetic, when he does care about something, he pursues it with a vengeance.
When not in uniform, John would be found either in a bar (involved in a game of
Sabacc or a brawl, or both) or at the spaceport, fiddling with
his pet projects. He has a carefree attitude to life and is a very placid person, he
only kills in the cockpit, outside, even to his enemies he tries to preserve
life.
Background: John was
born in Coronet in the Corellian system. His parents were both wealthy traders
who owned a medium sized company. From early on in life, John hanged around with
Jeff "Tools" Pholo, a mechanic who taught him the tricks of the trade.
John also piloted freighters for his parents. At school, Johns hobbies were long
range clay pigeon shooting, swoop racing and boxing. After winning the city
finals at Boxing, Johns father called him a Trojan, an ancient warrior who
city had
once been under siege for ten years yet
they still managed to hold their own. After
graduating from school, John took up shooting for a sport while he studied for a
Bachelor of Science hoping to do something in the area of Physics. He also
helped his parents. After receiving his Bachelor of Science, John took up a job
at the most highly respected laboratory on Corellia, but it was too boring for
him, so he left the job to continue doing what he loved to do:
flying, either
for his parents or otherwise. Most of Johns friends went and fought in the
civil war,
on both sides, but John stayed out of it, knowing that he wanted no part in such
a great waste of life. John first killed another person when we was attacked by
a group of thugs when we was 18 Corellian years old. When he was 20, John, bored
by merchant flights decided to, with his parents blessings to purchase a yacht
and take off for the stars. John meet up with one of his surviving friends,
Holyoak (who had fought for the Imperials) who was to show him the galaxy when
an X-wing popped out of Hyperspace and blew up the Transport Holyoak was on.
Since then, John had sworn he would fight the rebels to avenge his friends
death. He spent two years flying around the galaxy, accumulating useful
knowledge, a fair sum of credits and trying to find his friends murderer. During
his search through records and space, John Stumbled upon an old friend, Adam
whom he used to know on Corellia. The
two became partners and lived a not entirely legal life until during a cargo
swap, John was interdicted by Imperial ships.
He was imprisoned and was brought onto the bridge where he talked to Admiral Kamin. Remembering
what the rebels had done to his life, John quickly offered himself up as a pilot
and using the force, Kamin could see a great future.
John then boarded a shuttle back to Platform Tigris, the training ground
for all new recruits. After a very short training period, John graduated as a
Captain, then for his work on the Conscription office, quickly moved up to
Commander. When Rho squadron was
shut down, John was transferred to Epsilon as a Colonel and a Flight Leader.
This soon turned to SXO when Tibor had to move from the position because
of his extra work load. For his hard work and loyalty, John was promoted to
General. During this time, Max, his commander had to leave to study more into
the force, so John accepted command of Epsilon where it prospered.
John rose through the ranks through Brigadier to Lieutenant General and
earned the position of Wing Commander and gained the prestigious position of
Head Assistant to the Executive Office. With
the disappearance of Brigadier General Shivan, John jumped at the opportunity to
retake command of his first Squadron and retook command of it.
When another squadron was needed, John decided to take personal control
of Theta Squadron until he yielded it to his able Squadron Executive Officer,
General Sledge. After half a year in charge of Rho Squadron, it was time for
change. Grand Admiral Kamin rose
John to the position of Captain of the SSD Executor II
and
to the rank of Rear Admiral where he looks after
the
four
wings beneath him.
